Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Investment and Financial Aid Manager to join our finance team. This role is crucial in securing loans and other financial instruments to support the company’s growth initiatives while also managing existing debt effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment management, financial aid, and debt financing, coupled with the ability to identify and develop new financial opportunities, including programs to attract and manage apprentices that contribute to the company’s profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
– Loan Procurement & Management:
Identify, evaluate, and secure loans and other financing options that align with the company’s strategic goals. Manage the terms, conditions, and repayment of all financial obligations.
– Investment Strategy:
Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize the company’s financial returns. Monitor and manage the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and financial objectives.
– Financial Planning & Analysis:
Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess the viability of investment opportunities, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI), and risk assessment. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
– Apprenticeship Program Development:
Design and implement programs to attract new apprentices, ensuring the development of skills that will enhance company productivity and profitability. Collaborate with HR to create financial incentives that encourage long-term retention and performance.
– Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with loans and investments. Develop and maintain risk management policies to safeguard the company’s financial health.
– Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders. Negotiate terms and conditions of loans and investments to benefit the company.
-Budgeting & Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to loans, investments, and apprenticeship programs. Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of financial performance.
– Leadership & Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the CFO and other members of the finance team to ensure cohesive financial management. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff involved in financial planning and investment activities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
– Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, investment, or a related field.
– Proven experience in securing and managing loans, investments, and other financial instruments.
– Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
– Experience in developing and managing apprenticeship or training programs is a plus.
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
– Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
